"Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you." 1 Th 3:16-18

Today I woke up feeling a little run down and emotional. Perhaps it was the short but loooong weekend to Farmington for our 10 year reunion (a whole separate blog) with a 9 month old (yes he is nine months now). Or, maybe it was the idea of coming home to "reality" from such a care-free weekend. Oh and it definitely could be the fact that my mom is going to be gone this whole week and she is my biggest help with the little guy. Anyway it has just been one of those mornings that the demands of being a mom have taken priority over anything else I might be feeling or going through. I really needed to dig deep for the strength that was being demanded.
So I was thinking about my current situation and began soaking in how extremely blessed I am to have soooooo many supportive people around me. I am blessed beyond words to have such amazing friends and family in my life! So during a time that I am feeling weak I am strengthened by all of you. I am soooo thankful for all your encouragement, your support, kindness, forgiveness, compassion, open hearts, open mindedness, love and care!
I was listening to a song this morning and these words just stood out to me...

"We live, we love, we forgive and never give up, for the days that were given are gifts from above, so today we remember to live and to love."

So today I am comforted by the unconditional love that surrounds me and want to send a little bit of love right back your way. Thank you all soooo much for the role you play in my life. I love you!!!!!!

Cory, I am so thankful that you know how much support and love you have coming your way. You are never alone, no matter how lonely you may feel. We are equally blessed to have you as a friend in our lives. Hopefully, these positive things will continue to help you when you need it. Don't forget, you can always call if you need anything!

Darling Cory, It just flashed through my mind that back in the days when folk songs were the rage and Peter, Paul and Mary and Joan Baez were in their heyday there was a beautiful song titled "Darling Cory" and it was one of my favorites. I have it somewhere in some of my music. I really need to look for it.

But getting to your Blog..My Darling Cory the experiences you are going through now, you are not going through alone. All of your family is forming a loving circle around you. I think of you so many times each day and pray for you each day. I called and left a message on your house phone this morning but it was only to tell you I love you. I knew you were tired and worn so did not expect you to call. Besides you may be very tired of talking about the subject at hand. When I call don't feel pressured to answer the phone because I am just calling to tell you I love you and I can certainly leave that message on the message machine. I will see you anyway tomorrow at Jamie's birthday party and I am looking forward to being in the presence of you and Brody. You are very important to me Cory. Through the years I have reveled in your stimulating conversations with me. The one thing that I persistently say about you is "That girl really has her head screwed on straight!" And that is the TRUTH! I love you exceedingly, honey. Grandpa

You ARE so loved sweetie, and my heart aches for you daily. But you DO have so many who love you and support you, and I am so happy that you get strength from that. You are so important to so many, so please take care of our Cory Belle. I love you.
