We must be willing to get rid of the life we've planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us. The old skin has to be shed before the new one can come.
~Joseph Campbell

and so i begin the journey of shedding the old skin......

LOVE it corky...and love seeing you here again.....letting go and finding that life won't always be easy, but it will bring more peace and happiness.....we all can learn from doing this in some way in our lives....so here is to new beginnings, dreams, goals, plans, letting go, and doing the best we can! we love you so!

here are some words that i wrote down sometime from somewhere...but i like reading them again.

"So you plant your own garden and decorate your own soul
instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers.
And you learn that you really can endure
that you really are strong
and you really do have worth
And you learn and you learn
with each new day

That makes me think of when you have a skab that needs to be pulled off so the new skin can get air and water and breathe and heal . . . the fresh, vulnerable skin groes underneath . . . pink and healthy.
