Thankful Thursday

Today I am thankful for strength!
for personal strength
and
for the strength of others who are facing difficult times
Adversity fills our lives
we all experience it at different levels and in different ways
it isn't easy and it isn't fun
BUT, we all get through it in one way or another!
I pray for strength every night and am so very thankful for the people that surround me,
who give me strength when I feel I don't have anything left!
Thank you!

There is no one path in life that is not without adversity. YOU are a very strong woman, mother, sister and friend. I pray that you continue to realize the strength you possess within you and that you continue to know how many love you and support you! I am so happy to call you friend.

Yes, Cory the main thing to remember is that no matter what we will survive whatever it is we are going through...in one way or another. A while back I stopped necessarily praying for exactly what I wanted and started praying for strength to get through whatever my intended path was. I don't know whether that is right or wrong, but it helped me to stop feeling disappointed when my heart's desires were unfulfilled and helped me know that at least I was strong enough to get through it. :)
Love you!

Ohhh dear Cory! With each day you grow before my eyes. You ARE so strong, courageous and wise beyond your years. You are also deeply blessed to be surrounded by that same strength and courage in your family and friends. When you feel like you cannot possible take another step, someone (including the Lord) is there to lend a hand or pick you up and carry you through your difficulty. It must be said that sometimes just committing our trying times to paper helps immensely.
Each time I read your blog I am in awe of the council you receive from your mother, grandfather, sisters and dear friends. You are surrounded with warmth, love,
encouragement, support and council.
You are blessed indeed.
I hope you find some comfort in that knowledge.
I love you Cory

Cory, you truly are such a strong person. You strengthen all of us just by being who you are and sharing all of your thoughts, so thank you! I think of a quote that says, "I never said it would be easy, I only said it would be worth it." I think I heard it in church (a long time ago), and at that time it was referring to the idea that if we live righteously, we will be rewarded. When I think of it now, I think of it in regards to every day life, that there will be struggles and hard times, but if we rely on ourself, others and God to help us, he will make everything worth it. I love you Cory and you are in my thoughts and prayers.
